Can I apply Extratapete wallpapers over ingrain wallpapers?

0

Yes, you can, but the texture of the ingrain wallpaper will push through! We advise against this in the case of our patterned wallpapers (Collection 1). The ingrain texture is not as noticeable with our photo wallpapers, however. We do not recommend partially removing the old ingrain wallpaper and then hanging the new wallpaper in the resulting gap. It is better to remove the old wallpaper entirely or apply the new wallpaper on an additional surface covering the old wallpaper. To sum it up, Extratapete wallpapers look best when applied to a smooth wall!
