Can I apply as a non-exchange student to a programme or to courses taught in English at Uppsala University?
The programmes and courses taught in English are only open to formal exchange students and other students already admitted to the University as well as the two categories mentioned under A1 Other International Students (Master level programmes and a few undergraduate courses). Students without the prerequisite knowledge of Swedish cannot apply, except, in some cases, students who have been awarded a scholarship or a grant from a recognized scholarship agency or organization. You cannot, however, expect to obtain a full degree with only courses taught in English at Uppsala University unless, in some cases, you study on a Master level programme. See also A 2 above.
