Can I apply a wallpaper mural on new unpainted drywall?

0

On new drywall, apply a pigmented wallpaper primer/sealer, followed by 2 coats of FLAT interior paint. In order for the paste to ‘grab’ the wall, the paint must be completely dried. The longer that you wait – the better, but at least 48 hours. Be 100% sure that you used FLAT interior paint. Satin, semi-gloss, eggshell etc will not allow the paste to adhere properly and as the paper dries, it will begin to separate from the wall.
