No, the UVRPs in OxiShield Algae and Mold Barrier need to be exposed to the direct, or indirect, ultra violet rays of the sun. So if you paint over OxiShield, the UVRP’s will no longer be able to “see” the sun’s UV rays which will prevent the photo-catalytic reaction from occurring. It is this photo-catalytic reaction that generates a chemical reaction on the treated surface which prevents the re-growth of algae, mold and mildew.
