Can I announce something on the WestWestSound web page?
Absolutely. The News and Announcements section is for posting of events of general interest to the community, Information may be emailed to Jon or you may send a formatted email directly to a special blog address which Jon will supply. Postings here may include pictures and include links to other web pages. Postings should be of general interest to the community and of a timely nature. These postings are usually limited to several paragraphs but there are other ways we can include important information to the community on the web page. A key difference between postings to the forum and information displayed on the web page should be noted. Information posted in the forum is available only to members of the forum and does not show up in internet searches. Information on the web page is available to the world, and will be found by search engines. If you don’t want your words to come back to you 5 years in the future, it’s best to limit your comments to the forum.
