Can I amend order placed earlier through iOCBC?
Clients can only amend an order to lower the number of shares for those unfulfilled quantity. Clients will not lose their position in the queue when they amend an order. Kindly note that the amended quantity for AMEX & NYSE must be in mixed lot or same as original quantity. Example: Submitted an order to buy 200 shares of stock ABC and amended the order quantity subsequently. Scenario 1: Amend order quantity from 200 shares (round lot) to 100 shares (round lot). Amendment can be accepted as amended quantity is the same as the original round lot. Scenario 2: Amend order quantity from 200 shares (round lot) to 101 shares (mixed lot). Amendment can be accepted as amended quantity is in mixed lot. Scenario 3: Amend order quantity from 200 shares (round lot) to 99 shares (odd lot). Amendment will be rejected as amended quantity is in odd lot. Amended quantity must be in mixed lot or round lot.
