Can I add an extra rad to a Baxi bermuda 552 back boiler (second question)?

The 552 boiler if I remember was 55,000 input with 48/49,000 output. The single pipe system will date back to the late 60’s I was putting 2 pipe systems in in 67 when I started for my self. Probably had solid fuel Parkray in original and then converted to gas in the 70’s but then your 552 boiler could be the 2nd gas appliance installed. The early model had a metal shielded plug and socket on the left and a 2 button gas valve. The fire had a permanent pilot flame. later the plug and socket was moved to the right hand side and was plastic cream / off white. Towards the end of production the socket became more flat, black and had a 4th terminal for the gas fire lights. The gas valve became 1 round button.round about 85. Putting an extra rad in will be OK whatever size you want within reason. The only thing that suffers will be the time that it takes to heat the domestic hot water up as that will only be gravity circulation.
