No. The RBFG.exe utility is hard-coded with the supported network card adapters for this release of RIS. Microsoft will be adding additional network card adapters over time. Microsoft makes the updated RBFG.exe utility available through normal distribution channels such as the Web, Windows Update, and future service/feature pack updates. Can I use the Active Directory object attributes to create a naming format for use with the RIS automatic computer-naming feature? No. The existing attributes supported with the automatic computer-naming feature leverage the Active Directory. However, all of the Active Directory object attributes are not currently supported. This is something that is being investigated for a future release of RIS.
