However, if you try to enter a second person with the same initials, date-of-birth and gender as another client, the application will display a warning message indicating that another record with the same client-identifying information already exists. You will be given the option to view any existing, similar record or to continue and create a second record. You may wish to view the pre-existing record(s) to ensure you will not create a duplicate record for the same unit/site. If you are satisfied that the new record is for a different client, you should select the option to create a new record. 7.
