Can I add a Buyer Protection Plan to an item on my Wish List or baby registry?
At this time, you cannot add a Buyer Protection Plan to items on your Wish List or baby registry. For example, if you register for a product with a Buyer Protection Plan, only the item – not the plan – will be successfully added. How do your plans work? We offer 2 different plans, based on the price of the product you’d like to protect: • Replacement Plan: This plan covers items under $300. It begins on the 31st day after purchase and covers you for 15 months from the date of purchase and reimbursements will be made in the form of “R”Us Gift Cards. • Service Plan: This plan covers items over $300, and begins on the date of purchase. You are given the option of a 2 or 3 year coverage plan. The Service Plan also offers specific coverage for video consoles/bundles (only what is in the original box).
