Can I activate my voyager without changing to the nationwide plan?
Ah, you are in the same boat that I almost got myself into. I contacted Verizon as I did not want to change from my current plan which is the America’s Choice Family Share at $59.99 for 2 lines + $9.99 for my 3rd line and it nets me 500 shared anytime minutes. Verizon said if I wanted the Voyage I would have to upgrade to the Nationwide Family Share plan and the cheapest one they had was $69.99 for 2 lines + $9.99 for the 3rd line which would net me 700 shared anytime minutes. I told them that I had no need to up my shared minutes and therefore don’t want to pay more for something I am not going to utilize. Then I asked why I had to change to Nationwide, what the difference was between Nationwide and America’s Choice? The answer……America’s Choice is no longer offered. So I did not change plans nor did I buy the Voyager. I told them that was one less sell they didn’t make and I would stick to my Razr.
