Yes. Accessing remote tables through database links was not supported in WebDB 2.2, but has been added and is supported. Note that in releases prior to 3.0.8, you may intermittently see the following error if you use database links in Oracle9iAS Portal components: “An unexpected error occurred: ORA-00164: autonomous transaction disallowed within distributed transaction (WWC-43000)” This problem can be caused by distributed transactions sharing the same DAD as Oracle9iAS Portal and conflicting with Oracle9iAS Portal’s internal use of autonomous transactions. The use of autonomous transactions was discontinued in release 3.0.8.
