Accessing MyLander through a dial-up connection may cause delays or slow loading times. MyLander is a feature-rich system that incorporates data from many sources, allows navigation between multiple applications (Bearcat Web, Blackboard, Webmail, and Banner), and is optimized for a broadband internet connection (typically cable or DSL). If your customary method of internet access is dial-up, you may want to consider accessing MyLander while on campus at one of the open-access computer labs, making the modifications suggested below, or accessing applications such as webmail, Blackboard (WebCT), or Bearcat Web directly. You can customize the MyLander portal and configure the Home tab to allow for faster loading times by deleting some of the optional channels that are displayed by default.
