No. Harry’s Hut Road and Poverty Point access road are only recommended for high clearance 4WD vehicles. These roads are generally sand (with some gravel sections on Harry’s Hut Road). Washouts and potholes are common. Be aware that sections of these roads are prone to flooding. Vehicle access permits are not required when traversing Harry’s Hut Road and Poverty Point access road or the associated camping areas.
