Can human toothpaste kill a dog PLEASE READ?
Use toothpaste and a toothbrush especially for dogs which you can find at your local pet shop. The toothpaste comes in many different flavours like beef and peanut butter which they`ll enjoy. Make sure you brush your dog`s teeth everyday to keep them healthy and clean. Bones will also help their teeth but dose`nt mean that you should`nt brush them. You should never brush your dogs teeth with human tooth paste because: It gives them a bad stomach and they may even throw up, your dog is not going to like the minty flavour, human toothpaste is not meant to be eaten and a dog will eat whatever is in there mouth, unlike us as we will rinse and spit. Start brushing your dogs teeth when he/she is a puppy so they will get used to it! i get my toothpaste right from my vet its not that expensive try holistic breath spray that’s even cheaper for breath spray watch out for xylothol( not sure of spelling) when buying breath spray from pet stores this is deadly to dogs and i noticed some pet stores still have these products on the shelf.
No it won’t kill him but use toothpaste made for pets. Try Milk Bone dog biscuits a few times a day to keep the tarter on his teeth under control. If his breath is still stinky you might consider getting his teeth cleaned at the Vet and keep using Milk Bone biscuits. Also, wet food causes nasty breath.
