Can Hib/Men C vaccine be given to older children and adults?
Conjugate vaccines, including Hib/Men C, usually produce much better levels of protection in older children and adults and this protection is longer lasting. Currently the combined Hib/MenCvaccine is not licensed for older children and adults but it may be given as recommended in the Immunisation against infectious disease (Green Book).
