Can Hi-Light panels be used in conjunction with other metal fabrications or components?
When different metals are used together there is always the possibility of some reaction occurring. These possibilities should be discussed with our technical team. Isolating tape, which is a double sided foam tape can often solve the problem. Placed between panels and framework it isolates the dissimilar materials and precluded occurrence of reaction. Taptites are stainless steel self-tapping screws commonly used to fasten Hi-Light Sunscreens to frameworks.
