Can helping another affect the laws of karma..?

0

Karma in Sanskrit means “action”. Laws of Karma is more clearly defined in Buddhism. But the basic truth in life unfolds “cause and effect”. Bhagavad Gita, Chapter Three: Karma-yoga says: Everyone must engage in some sort of activity (Karma) in this material world. But actions can either bind one to this world or liberate one from it. By acting for the pleasure of the Supreme (God), without selfish motives, one can be liberated from the law of karma (action and reaction) and attain transcendental knowledge of the self and the Supreme. Helping other without expecting any thing in return will liberate from the laws of karma.
