Can hedgehogs live without eating bugs?
They can live without them, but many love mealworms as treats. If you’re not comfortable with live mealworms, you can feed canned ones. Do NOT feed Pretty Pets hedgehog food though, most hedgehog foods are actually not healthy for african pygmy hedgehogs. Most are created with European hedgehogs in mind, and they have different nutritional needs than pet hedgehogs. You should feed high quality cat foods for their main diet.
