Can heavy marijuana smoking during pregnancy increase the risk of the child developing schizophrenia later in life?

I have not seen any studies that have shown a risk of a child developing schizophrenia later in life, from smoking pot during pregnancy.

Ok here’s what happens. Neurological growth is more erratic, this can mean an increase in behavioral problems, however surprisingly women who smoke while pregnant have had children with exceptionally high IQ’s. This is never published because of the war on drugs but that’s the absolute scientific truth. Nothing you’re going to hear is unbiased when it comes to drugs. I wouldn’t recommend smoking pot, but I have personally seen children come from smoking pregnancies and score 30 points higher on IQ tests than their siblings who were not introduced to Marijuana in the fetus. I’ve also seen these highly gifted kids be kicked out of school or drop out from the coinciding behavioral issues.
