Can HCG be used by a Breastfeeding mom?
Your healthcare provided MUST be aware of your weight loss plans. We know that women naturally produce HCG during two events in their life — the heavy flow days of menstruation and daily during pregnancy. We also know that no woman has been told to stop breastfeeding during these events because the HCG will be harmful to the nursling. With this said, there are changes that must be made to the Protocol in order to ensure milk supply.
