Can having a stuffed up nose make you feel dizzy?
While the stuffy nose itself won’t make you dizzy, whatever is causing the stuffed nose can certainly do it. Usually dizziness means there is a problem with the inner ear, and an upper respiratory infection can give you an ear infection that will make you dizzy or nauseated. At this point, your best bet would probably be a visit to the doctor to have things checked out. It may be you have developed a viral labyrinthitis, or you have a blockage in the eustachian tubes. It may also be all in the ears themselves, and not actually in the nose at all. If your nose is actually stuffed up, to where you can’t breathe through it, then a decongestant medicine may also help open the ears to drain and solve the dizzy problem.
