A. No, Handi-Foam is not rated for Firestopping applications. Handi-Foam E84 Class 1 foams are classified as flame retardent. This may include insulating rim joists, tub and spa applications, use in mechanical rooms near machinery and in vehicles and refrigerated trucks. Cured foam should not be exposed to flame or temps in excess of 200 deg for one component foam and 240 F for two component foam. Standard and Handi-Flow Two-Component Handi-Foam kits are not classified as fire retardent.
