Since they are sight hounds most healthy greyhounds never completely lose the urge to chase. What they are prepared to chase varies – commonly any wild animal or bird -and cats! It can be a problem to find a dog who is happy with cats although we have more than a few instances where greyhounds live side by side with cats quite comfortably. The rehomer will want to be sure that there aren’t any problems in this area.
