Can Gold Coat be installed before the sheathing is installed?

Yes, sheathing can be pre-coated with Sto Gold Coat. However after the sheathing is installed rough openings and joints must be taped with Sto Detail Mesh embedded in Sto Gold Fill and fasteners spotted as instructed in our literature. Then Sto Gold Coat must be reapplied over the dry Sto Gold Fill (in the case of OSB sheathing, to the entire OSB surface too).
