Can goats eat poison oak?

0

Poison oak is perfectly safe for goats to eat, and they usually love it. It’s called “poison” because of the rash it causes on humans, it is not toxic in any way to goats. However, it is NOT true that goat’s won’t eat poisonous plants unless they are starving. Goats LOVE rhododendrons but they are highly toxic and can be fatal to them. If you have rhododendrons be VERY careful that your goats can never get to them.
