Can glyconutrients improve stem cells?
Stem cells are produced in the bone marrow and travel throughout the body repairing damaged tissues. Some scientists are investigating the link between adding glyconutrients to the diet and stem cell production. In one preliminary study, after glyconutrients were added to the diet, laboratory tests were conducted. These tests when measured stem cell counts in a micoliter of blood. Virtually none were detected prior to glyconutrients. Within a week of consuming glyconutrients, 200-400 stem cells were found in a microliter of blood. Scientists are now conducting further research in this exciting field.
