Can Gift Aid be claimed on offline donations?

Gift Aid can be claimed if you are using a sponsorship form and your sponsors tick the Gift Aid box and provide their full name and address. The sponsorship form needs to be sent with the Sending your money in form. Gift Aid can only be claimed if the donor grants permission personally. For this reason, a page holder should not pay offline donations in through the My Fundraising system, otherwise we will be unable to claim Gift Aid on those donations. It is therefore best to send in any money raised offline separately, using the “Sending your money in” form.
