Can genetic engineering feed the world?

Not even close. Farmers world wide are already rejecting genetically engineered plants for simple facts there not natural. And genetically engineered plants are trademarks of there makers and they do not allow farmers to keep seeds, if the plant produces them at all. This forces the farmer to spend all there profits the next year on more seeds and licenses to use them, ultimately driving the farmers in debt. And genetically engineered plants are not good for anyone or anything. Natural farming provides all the seeds a farmer needs. They rarely have to buy any. They don’t need a special license to grow or own them. Natural food is good for you, and doesn’t have negative effects on the environment. I would MUCH rather eat a little pesticide on my apple than get cancer from something man made that makes 10 times the pesticide on it’s own. I have enough problems being a smoker. I don’t want or need my fruits and veggies, which are supposed to be the most healthy foods, helping me along.
