Can Gangrel revise their forms?
Until level 6, Gangrel are limited to only the two “fight or flight” forms, which must be established when level 4 is learned. However, one Dark Age source book (Libellus Sanguinis 3) implies that Gangrel can also revise these forms if they wander into areas were their old animal forms are unnatural. Such a change would not be a process of whim, but an act of the Beast feeling the need for better camouflage. If allowed to choose alternate forms: • The Fight form should be large enough to pose a threat, and well equipped for hunting or fighting. The choice of form is almost always a predator or scavenger animal. Nevertheless, there are rumors of Gangrel taking the forms of dangerous herbivores such as Wild Stags or Bulls. • The Flight form is usually a flyer, but it can be a runner, tunneler, etc. Remember the true function of flight form is not flying but fleeing. Its about raw survival, not hanging around to be killed.
