Any Snowbee rod with an anodized aluminum reel seat can be used in salt water. However, the ‘Deep Blue’ range has been design with saltwater fly fishing particularly in mind and have a number of features, including Anodised Titanium Channel-Lock(tm) reel seats, as standard and best suited to this harsh environment. In all cases we recommend rods and any other equipment is washed in warm soapy water immediately after use.
