Can Gallbladder Surgery Cause Nerve Damage Or Neuropathy?

0

I had gall bladder surgery in 1992. To this day I still do not have any feeling 4″ below the cut line. Since I do not have any feeling there, when I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes I was put on insulin and that is the area I stick myself with the insulin needles. If I stick myself on my left side of the surgery line I always get bruised with the needle mark.
