Can full-time staff use their $100 Coupon or ETAP to pay the cost of registering for any of the Continuing Education classes?
$100 Coupon: “The Employee Development Council $100 Coupon may be used by regular non-faculty staff employees toward the registration cost of seminars or workshops for personal and professional growth. The EDC coupon provides up to $100 (more with justification from Department Head) per fiscal year, per employee, when comparable training is not available through an ACCD source at the same or lesser cost.” (excerpt from District Training and Development web page) The $100 Coupon can be used for Non-reimbursable CE classes. Non-reimbursable classes are those that are less than 7 hours long. For example, the Notary Public class is four (4) hours long and qualifies for the $100 Coupon.
