Yes. Full-time contract instructors can complete the 40 required hours any time between July 1 and the third Friday in May as long as they are not in direct conflict with an instructor’s teaching schedule or office hours.U Extra-pay and part-time instructors should complete required hours during Professional Development Week or submit an Individual Proposal by the end of Professional Development Week (as well as a Completed Individual Activity form by the last Friday in September for Fall, and by the last Friday in February for Spring). Pre-approved Individual Professional Development Activities can be arranged when necessary. Contact the Office of the Professional Development Administrator.
