Can frozen food be stored in refrigerator-freezer combinations?
Refrigerator-freezer combinations can be used for storing frozen food if the freezer is a true freezer (will maintain 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less) and not just the freezing compartment of a refrigerator. A better quality product with a much longer shelf life results if foods are held at a temperature of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less. If a refrigerator freezing compartment is used, store food for only one to two weeks.
