CAN FROGS AND REPTILES BE HOUSES TOGETHER?

0

It depends on what species of reptile and frog. Some reptiles require high heat and humidity, which would end up leaving the frog dehydrated. Also, some species, such as chameleons, are solitary creatures and wouldn’t do well with others in the same cage. I suggest doing some research on the habitats of the animals you intend to put together.

No. Amphibians need to soak in water, and if you have another reptile pooping in the water, whatever that reptile is carrying will be passed onto the frog. All herps carry different parasites and bacteria, but what may be ok for one could kill the other. It’s just not a good thing to do. Also, most reptiles tend to be a lot more aggressive than amphibians, and with their very soft skin, they would be the first to get hurt. It’s just not a good idea… and getting into the environmental differences is a completely different conversation.

Depends on what types. If the reptiles can go into water then no. Or if they are scaly then no. The frogs might get scratched. Plus reptiles live in a different habitat weather than frogs. Try putting a fish in the desert and a cobra in the ocean.
