Can Friends Reunited Survive?
TELEGRAPH.CO.UK — Nov 10 — British site, Friends Reunited, was purchased in 2005 for 120 million British pounds and had 12 million members. However, today, they have only 9 million users and according to Nielsen Web Monitoring they had 2.1 million uniques in August compared with Facebook’s 6.5 million and MySpace’s 6.3 million. Rumors are that Friends Reunited will drop their monthly subscription charge. The site is in need of a facelift. Quality is defined as ‘fitness for purpose’ so its still a quality site, but it could use a coat of paint.
