Can former employees raise grievances?
Employers will have to introduce procedures to allow former employees to bring a grievance. It will not be necessary to allow former employees access to the same workplace grievance procedure that apply to current employees, as long as the procedures that are put in place meet the minimum statutory requirements. The modified two-stage grievance procedure can be used where the employment has ended provided the employee consents and the standard thee-stage procedure has not been completed.
