Can Forlan Stop the Brazilians?
Diego Forlan (pictured right), the best rated football player in the world at the moment, will have a high plank of 35 rating points to beat when his country Chile host Brazil in World Cup 2010 qualifying on June 6. Uruguay are 5th in the table behind Argentina, a step below the fourth, last automatic berth for South Africa 2010. Forlan set the plank with a double in the game between Atletico Madrid and Betis in La Liga action. Forlan is in excellent form, and a light loss in rating points is unlikely to cost him the top spot in the FTBL World Top 23: Forlan currently has a rating of more than 330 points! Ajax striker Luis Suarez will come handy as well for Uruguay, as he likewise ranks among the top South American strikers at the moment, despite trailing Forlan by approximately 200 points. Suarez will have a plank of just 14 rating points to beat in the game, a plank he set when he grabbed the opener in the 2:1 win over Roda JC in the Netherlands league.
