Can foreign nationals participate in the ORISE program?
For those projects that can accept foreign nationals, once an applicant is offered and accepts an appointment, ORISE will begin the process to sponsor the J-1 Visa status for that participant. Doing this properly depends on many things, such as if the participant is already in the country or not, and time to process the Visa can be lengthy.
