Can foreign investors freely repatriate their profits and investment abroad?

0

Under Law 16-95 on Foreign Investment, upon compliance with a simple registration formality at the Dominican Central Bank, foreign investors may repatriate abroad at any time in freely convertible currency all their capital invested and all of the profits obtained there from. Foreign investors may purchase freely from any commercial bank in the country the foreign currency needed to do so without any restrictions and without the need of prior approval from the Dominican Central Bank.
