Can Ford Motor Co. surve bankruptcy in the next three years?
The dismal outlooked accompanies with serious management problem make the passibility a real one. Ford Motor Co. said Sept. 15 in Detroit that it plans to cut almost 45,000 jobs, about one-third of its work force, and $5 billion in costs. Ford shares dropped 11 percent during morning trading. Ford also said its North American unit would not make a profit for the next three years. According to experts unless the comany is acqired by a German or Japanese Auto maker, the possibilities of a bankruptcy is a real one.
