Flexpipe can be used for sour applications. Flexpipe recommends limiting H2S content to 5% for Flexpipe line pipe in oil effluent and water applications. Higher H2S content can be evaluated on a case by case basis. In accordance with CSA Z662-07, single phase gas applications are limited to a maximum 50 kPa partial pressure of H2S for all composite pipe products. For example, this corresponds to 1% at 750 psi (5 MPa). Please contact a Flexpipe representative to discuss your application and current regulations.
