Can FlexDeck be applied over any existing surface?
FlexDeck can be applied over most surfaces such as wood, concrete, asphalt, plastic and even metal provided the existing surface has been properly prepared to receive the binder. Typically, unsealed, painted surfaces are thoroughly cleaned using an industrial power washer and up to 1500 to 2000 psi. Other areas may need to be sanded (80-100 grit) or diamond ground to remove loose or chipped coatings prior to installation.
