Can fleas live on people?
Yes and no. Cat and dog fleas do not live on human skin or in human hair. Cat and dog fleas, however, will use human hair as a transport system to move from one host to another. They will also lay their eggs in the hair of humans. Human fleas will live on humans and pigs, but they are not these types of infestations are not common thanks to modern day improvements in human hygiene.
