Flash Player 7 for Pocket PC has been tested to work on Pocket PC 2003 (windows mobile version 4). MS did not move to the Windows Mobile nomenclature until version 5. The Flash player will only play up to version 7 content, version 8 and 9 content need not apply. Another option is Flash Lite 2.1 for Windows Mobile 5.0. This is a standalone player and WILL NOT play embedded content, only the raw flash file. Also, Opera browser version 8.65 for WM5 will support Flash, but you will also need to install the apporpriate file Flash Lite or Flash for PPC. Also, some PPC smartphones have not supported the Flash addin but Adobe does not have a full compatability.
