Can fire sprinkler systems work while the main water valve is shut off? How can you tell if the system if pressurized
You did not say where you’re located, so I cannot say about your situation !
I’m in Canada, and here all commercial fire sprinklers must be on a separate main and pressure system. Turning off conventional incoming water does not make a difference. -And there are many regulations about it.
