Can field responders access SMART911 information?
Yes. In addition to field responders receiving subscriber information relayed by call takers, field responders can access a subscriber’s information (for a period of a few hours) using a Web browser with an Internet connection, the subscriber’s phone number, and a ticket number presented to the call taker at the time a subscriber makes a 911 call. All SMART911 critical care information the subscriber will be available to responders on a read-only basis.
