Can fever be considered as a symptom of ANEMIA?
No, anaemia does not cause fever but then anaemia is not a disease in itself – it merely means that the oxygen carrying cells in your body (the red cells) are reduced. This could be why you have palpitations because the heart is trying to pump blood faster to meet your body’s oxygen demands. The underlying disease would just be speculation unless you have had a blood test and a proper clinical examination. I would suggest you to see your GP to get to the bottom of it because they can perform the necessary tests after clinical examination.
