Can family members fly with the patient? Who and how many?
One or two traveling companions may accompany the patient at no additional charge. This is not a requirement, but is encouraged whenever practical. The only exception would be if the patient’s specific medical condition did not allow additional passengers. Why is it important? The patient’s stress level is greatly reduced by having someone they know accompany them during a flight.
